Learn how to make table saw sled runners for saws with tabbed miter slots, like you might find on some Ryobi and Craftsman models. It's not as hard as you mi. So far I made a rip fence for the table saw. For cross cuts, it's best to use a miter gauge, or a crosscut sled like the one shown at left. These ride in a slot in the table, called a 'miter slot'. In my previous table saw build I cut these with a router. If you have a router, I'd recommend you use it for the slots.
